Hartly town is a small community that dates back to 1734. According to the 2010 Census, Hartly has a mere 74 residents and 34 housing units. The town is arranged around the cross roads of Arthursville Road (Rt#11) and Main Street (Rt# 44). Hartly has the distinction as being the smallest of Delaware’s municipalities.
